Default My hair is better!

I used to have dandruff, and my hair didn't look so good, very dry and thin.

After a month of a strict keto diet, I notice a big improvement, no more dandruff and now is silky and stronger.

Anyone else noticing it?.

I recall someone saying her hair and nails improved. I haven't noticed anything, but I would love stronger nails.

OK, so 6 weeks in now and my nails appear to be stronger. They've grown as long as they grow and they should be breaking by now - knock on wood that they don't! I have had significantly reduced headaches, and last night when I told my husband this he said my coloring has looked better lately. Was I pale before? I don't know.

Both our cuticle producing cells (hair, nails) and our brains crave fat. The asinine diets that most of us used to eat were way too high in carbs, and way too low in fat.

Switch it around, and, of course, it takes time to notice, but both our hair and our nails will thank us. I'm 65. Most women my age have terrible hair--dry, almost cracked looking, from years of bad nutrition. Thank goodness for LCHF, which means that my hair is still as soft as when I was in my 20's.
