I went to a "lingerie consultant" when I was getting married. A) I was amused that such a job existed and B) she did an AMAZING job. Amazing. The bras were expensive but they were feats of structural engineering.

New Look - British chain shop, their "Inspire" range goes up to a British 26 (US22 I think, if our sizes are 2 bigger). I lived in their jeans for a long time until we got a F21 in my city.

I wear them until they fall apart, then start the whole process over again.

I've found out that when we take our chest measurement under the bra line and use that and go up in cup size, that it fits us better that way.
I measure a 36d but I wear a 34 dd as it gives me a much better fit with the higher sides for the bigger cup size.
I also only wear minimizers.
LadyGrace.com sells many bras for fuller figures.

So, I thought i would put a comment here so that this moves to the head of the line, in case anyone has new things to add, especially sources for very warm weather office work clothes-- take a gander at the great stuff thats already here, ideas for in person and online!

Oh, pinupgirl dressed are just amazing, they look like something Christina Hendricks would wear in Mad Men, simply gorgeous. I love Asos Curve as well, they have really "trendy" well fitted pieces.

For the past few years I've bought almost all my clothing from small boutiques who sell through etsy. You can search for "handmade plus size clothing" for some options. Probably best for more basic/simpler designs but that's what I like. I LOVE buying from an individual designer something they make themselves and the prices are fairly reasonable.

Best bra-fitting site *ever* ... http://www.reddit.com/r/ABraThatFits/wiki/fit_guide

Seriously. I did the "ribcage +5-inch" thing for years, and hated every supposedly correct fitting bra I subsequently bought. For years, I bought 42C, then suffered with shoulder straps constantly falling off, double-boob lines in front, and underwires that dug into my armpits.

Using the reddit guide above, I learned that my correct size is 38DD ... not 42C. Especially since I mastered "scoop and swoop".

Please check the reddit link above, for everything you ever need to know about properly fitting your girls into a bra, whether you're plus size or not
