Here is the link to the recipe.

They look pretty good. I wouldn't have thought of putting poultry seasoning in the breading.

Not to sound stupid but what exactly is "poultry" seasoning ?
I really miss some good onion rings.

Thank you.

You can find it in the spice section at the grocery store. I used it and sage to help season Thanksgiving stuffing. Sigh....won't be having that this year! OK, I just got my container here, Ingredients: black peper, salt, coriander, savory, sage, thyme, EEww! modified corn starch! Gonna have to pitch this one! Guess you should watch the ingredients.

I saw this show and really got my hopes up, but the onion have so many carbs in them they aren't acceptable for induction. BUT, Stella recomends using this recipe for okra!!! Oh man I can't wait to try it.

That recipe has a total of 72 net carbs. Sure I'd cut that in 3 at least for me. But that is still 24 carbs. I just don't like onions THAT much. If you read my journal I do occationally eat 24 grams worth of popcorn at the movies. I guess it's all about priorities.

BTW, I am on atkins induction. We aim for 20 carbs a day.

I made the same onion rings I think. I just sliced the onions cracked an egg over them then dipped them in seasoned soy flour and fried them. Very delicious. I put a big pile of them on top of my steak. Yummmmmmy =)

My husband tried making me some onion rings with soy flour, although it was minus the poultry seasoning.
If you look at the picture of the recipe on Stella's page, what you see is just like what my husband got: problems with the batter staying on. (see that bare onion in the pic?)
I am not sure if what happened was because of the soy, but we had not had problems using other flours (before low carb).
I hope everyone has better luck than we did!
