Default So I made the mashed radish last night...

It was great - I used the peel'em, cube'em, cook'em, mash'em method and them added a gallop of mayo, parma cheese and S&P, but there was a problem : they were watery???? How can a prevent that. And does anyone add butter to 'em - I wasn't craving this on them, but I was just curious.

Thanks for any info,
E

Default wattery mashed turnips

hmm, haven't tried cooking this yet - am going to buy some turnips soon, though. Maybe you can put the turnips on paper towels after they are cooked? It depends on how firm they are. Anyway, that's what I do with tofu to remove water.
