Default So hungry!!!

I started last Monday and the first five days were great! All of sudden now, yesterday and today I have been starving all day...what is going on? It should be getting better not worse, right? I made sure that I didn't eat anything with ANY carbs today during the day....

ANY carbs meaning no veg either? 0 net carbs? And only today? If you've been eating more than the 20 grams of carbs (mostly in the form of veg) in days prior, your body likely is craving more carbs - vicious cycle it is! I'm a rookie too....I think most of the helpful folks here would need to see what you're eating in a typical day in order to make any suggestions.

The one thing I've learned is to up my fat intake....which in turn ups/lengthens satisfaction. The more butter/olive oil/avocado/mayo, etc. I eat, the less hungry I am. While I don't do it, I have seen that some people on here literally snack on butter.

hpah11 - I'm confused..are you still doing cad?

Feeling hungry isn't unusual, eat a decent cm..be sure it has veggies as well as protein (raw veggies - as in salad, celery, help fill you up).

I eat when my tummy growls..lol. Just being sure there has been at least 90 minutes since my last cm.

Yes, I am still doing CAD...I meant to say that I have made sure that all my food (at breakfast and lunch) is carb free, except for the non-starchy veggies. Today seems to be a little bit better...

please check the labels of what you are eating- any additives (read the Hellers newer books) can also cause cravings.
I know i am late on the thread- but it helps to actually post what you are eating too.

I also found that if I eat too many carbs at the RM, I start craving carbs throughout the day. There is a section in the book where they talk about it.
