Question Tasty Bite Madras Lentils?

Has anyone incorporated these into their plan? I found them at Costco and the ingredients seem ok, other than cream and butter..but they are pretty far down the list. These also have no preservatives or other nasties, which I like.
WOW they are delicious. I am down with pneumonia right now so needed something hearty and I cant cook right now so these fit the bill with 1/2 c brown rice. What do you think?

Ingredients: water, tomatoes, lentils, red beans, onions, cream, butter, salt, sunflower oil, chiles, cumin.

Nutritional info: 150 cal, 6 gm fat, 2.5 gm sat fat, 510 mg sodium, 18 g carb, 5 g fiber

Lots of iron, calcium, vit a and vit c too !

Are these ok if not eaten every day?

So sorry to read that you're sick! Feel Better soon!

This is a food from a box, right?
I highlighted the worst aspect of this food as that is very high sodium at 510 mgs for a serving. I would not eat this at all just because of that.

But you're sick and can't cook so enjoy ...but know that you will retain water from that much salt.

I like to eat oatmeal as a comfort food when I'm sick.

Yeah, it is a packet. It has a bit of sodium but not too bad really... 1/2 c of cottage cheese has nearly 400 so I wasn't too concerned with that part, although lower would certainly be better. It sure was yummy! I won't be eating it every day, for sure. Being sick sucks!

I got sick of oatmeal too...Ate it for the past few days loll!
