Default I'm new and with question this time.

so i have been reading some of the postings on ketosis... is this something i should be paying attention to? i'm only on day two (YAY!) so my main concern is sticking with the program foodwise, not even my weight yet alone the color of some stick! Should i be giving this attention? Thanks, rookie

I would not worry about the stick yet as it is only a tool to help you if you run into problems. If you stop loosing at any stage it can help you work out what food are knocking you out of ketosis. cheers

When I first started Atkins, It was a very usefull tool to help me know that I was doing it right. A mind thing.
It did take me about a week to register on the sticks.
Some people never register a color.
If you do use them, just remember that you might not ever show a color other than tan. You will know your in ketosis in other ways.
Good luck with your weight loss.

Yes welcome... the option to use the ketosis strips is totally a personal choice. You will know when you are in Ketosis... you'll get afunny taste in your mouth (bad breath) and you won't be hungry at all... those are the wonderful benefits of Ketosis......

The strips just help you understand where you are in the process. Frankly for some people it can become an obsession... for others they claim it's inconsistant (they varry depending on the time of day you test).... so it's totally a personal choice.

Thanks for the info re the "sticks." I don't think i will worry about using them at least for a while (since this is only day four also). [COLOR=Navy]
