I'm noticing a pattern with weight fluctuations. Each time a pound or two is dropped, it is up a bit at the next weigh-in. However, at the next weigh-in, the weight drops even further than the initial weigh-in. Anyone else notice that? I suppose the body is trying to find its new settling point until the next weigh-in.

(Was the board under maintenance this morning because all I saw were ads and some graphic lines on the whole board. I sent an email to the webmaster. It looks like everything's up and running again).

Alrighty, thought I'd let you know now that I'm going out to eat tonight; hubby insisted we celebrate my new job! I will be as careful in my selections and I can. Definitely, no starch or sugar. If they can handle that, then I'm golden.

My weight may go up (da(rn)m it!), but it's just one day. I'm drinking some of our good wine from our cellar to celebrate until he gets home.

So there will be no excuse why I might be up tomorrow, but know I'm still dedicated to the cause.

Talking Surprise! It's Starting Up Again, and I Want More!

2/5 189.7
2/6 189.1

I did good yesterday, afterall. I got the job of my dreams at this exclusive retirement community as a line cook and DH insisted on taking me out to celebrate. I believe I posted I may be in trouble today because of the restaurant food, but NO!

It was one of the best meals ever. We had Carpaccio for an appetizer w/fresh squeezed lemon juice and olive oil drizzle; I had 1/2 rotisserie chicken with sauteed mushrooms and we shared the double portion of broccolini de rape; DH had the this beautifully huge pork chop w/the long tailbone. No dessert.

I did drink an extra glass of wonderfully delicious wine and to my surprise, I dropped .3 oz.

Hey, works for me.
