As a retired cardiac ICU nurse noticing so many things coming to light from cholesterol lowering drug to the need for salt.. in ICU salt, and high fat anything was out especially saturated fat like remember "Lard" our folks cooked with etc. I never did like the way cholesterol lowering drug worked. A bunch of us nurses went on Dr. Atkins diet revolution back in the day and the doc had a ball at our expense until they noticed the weight loss and nurses running around full of energy eating pork skins. I never believed in conspiracy theories but it was kinda strange the way Dr. Atkins died "feel on ice I think? I'm on the ketogenic diet for 2 weeks now and the first thing I noticed is my blood pressure is down which makes sense, losing a lot of old body fluid. Remembering back in the day I never worried about my weight being on his diet.... Aw the good old days
