Hi--my name is Aleka and I have been on the Atkins diet for three weeks. I am looking for a doctor in the St. Louis area for my husband and myself that understands and supports the low carb diets. My husband is a diabetic and had a seven way bypass surgery several years ago. Because of this, I am afraid to put him on this diet with me because of his medications, etc..- Does anyone know of a cardiologist or general practitioner who is willing to help us on our diet?
