Congrats on the weight loss! I had a pretty good week myself, and hit a new low this morning for 90 pounds lost. Today has been good so far, I sauteed up some fresh mushrooms in lard for breakfast, and added a couple eggs for a nice mushroom omelet.

Today was the first day for our annual farmer's market so I went up there earlier. Not much produce yet but I bought a basket of fresh NJ strawberries - I have not been having fruit much lately, but some fresh strawberries in season are hard to resist. Also bought an organic free-range whole chicken, which is defrosting now and will be roasted tomorrow.

Also some fresh mahi mahi from off the NJ coast from the fishmonger. I had some of that for lunch, coated in a little salt and some pecan meal, and then pan-fried in butter. Yum. I'll have the rest of the fish for dinner along with a green salad probably, and maybe some strawberries and cream for a dessert.

An old thread, bumped...

Breakfast today was:
lox wrapped around cream cheese
gluten-free toast w/ butter
cream

Lunch was:
shredded root veggies (parsnip, rutabaga, celeriac, baby red potato)
butter
2 eggs
2 oz shredded cheddar

Dinner:
1 poblano pepper stuffed with:
cream cheese, some frozen cherries
cream in seltzer water with frozen cherry juice

Thursday I ate ~2800 calories
Friday I ate ~4800 calories (!!!!!)
Today I ate ~4050 calories (still !!!!)

Yesterday and today, I got hungry. I'd eat my planned meal, and feel satiated and comfy. Then after a while, I'd start to feel tired, or sluggish. So only a couple hours after breakfast I had lunch. Wow, body was warm, brain woke up. When I got tired again, I drank a cup of cream, and man, did my body and brain feel ---- good. I thought "surely this is it for today, especially after the high day yesterday" but nope, I was ready for dinner, so made the plan, and topped it off with some more cream.

I want to say if I never lose any more weight, I want to eat like this, period. I feel so good, calm, balanced, alert, in equilibrium, and WARM. It want this always!

Any Optimal Diet folks care to post your daily menus?

For me today:
Black tea w/ hwc and butter
Brunch: Beef bacon and chicken livers cooked in butter, with chives and black pepper. Water w/ fresh lemon juice. Side of sour cream.
Sn: Decaf coffee w/ hwc
Sppr: Broth made from cooking this morning, with chives and egg yolks stirred in. Side of HB egg yolks. Perhaps some diluted HWC to drink.

Am looking forward to reading what other ODers eat.

Hi, Seejay. I eat the same things over and over, too. Thanks for posting your menu.

Hi friends!

The important thing I think is to eat enough eggs on od. I eat every breakfast 2 eggs and 4 yolks, cooked with butter und corn or green pees.

Best wishes from Germany!
