Default ILuvLSU gym log

I'm still confused on how long before working out I should eat and what I should eat. Also how long after and what after. I wake up 30 min before I am at the gym so I guess it's best not to eat? I did have a 6 carb propel during.

Today was the first day at Curves. I also walked a 19.25 min mile (bad I know) when I came home. I went for 40 minutes then the lady who tends to stare a lot said it was best I didn't do anymore. I understand that I may be sore but I do have other activities in my life. I know my body and what I should or should not do. It made me feel like a small child being told what to do. Mind you she's a larger lady so I just would rather listen to the certified trainer there that told me to do whatever I felt I could do. It's a bit uncomfortable to be stared at. It's like a Chinese buffet lol. Oh and then they wanted me to stretch which I prefer to do when I get home since the minute I get in I jump on the treadmill. The stretches were all pretzel moves. I weigh 230, no I can't turn into a pretezel. I'm an adult that pays to go there and as long as I'm not in danger they should let people do things at their discretion. Such as these leg lifts they told me to do and came back to tell me again when I wasn't. I cannot raise my right leg in certain positions due to a hip injury so I told her it wasn't possible and she backed off. Ok my rant is done.
