Dex- glad you had a "hot date."

I don't have a plan for tonight.....we are leaving town for a few days tomorrow, so getting DH to finish the rotisserie and a large salad with cheese, pear slices and vinaigrette....
But there isn't enough chicken for two..... So might do seared lettuce with garlic for me, topped with roasted bell pepper, tzatiki, and 2 poached eggs.

So basically making us each a hot seared salad and chicken for the DH, eggs for me.

Will make sf cocoa to sip while I pack up.

I made sloppy joes on Friday (bunless for me, of course.) I had a side of cauliflower mash for the first time in ages.

Last night, I made a primal pizza. Still need to tweak the crust.

Tonight will probably be Swiss Chalet delivery. We're having a well-deserved lazy day.

Friday:
- antipasto salad (lettuce, mushrooms, black olives, feta, salami, and balsamic vinaigrette)
- chicken wings

Yesterday:
- tri tip roast

Today:
- prosciutto
- brie
- macadamias

Tonight's dinner came on the heels of a couple of Cowboy Cocktails (equal parts bourbon and HWC, shaken with ice, and served straight up) while on another date. I wasn't particularly hungry, but my BG was dropping so I was mostly just trying to head that off.

Leftover Swiss Chalet. SO has corn and potatoes, but I ate all of my broccoli/cauli yesterday, so I'll probably nuke some cauli from the freezer. I'll put the carcass in the crockpot overnight for broth.

Primal pizza and meat pizza sound good and I dislike beef

Dex- morning after burger

Still have a cold, so soup again. Tonight is my recent favorite- Italian wedding (chicken broth, chicken meatballs, diced celery and onion, shirataki noodles, garlic, Parmesan cheese and parsley on top).

Postponed groceries until tomorrow and the cupboard is pretty bare, so necessity is the mother.....

Made a bell pepper bisque with cashew milk, chicken bouillon, garlic, chicken meatballs, a touch of Splenda, and an orange bell pepper. Topped with Parmesan, parsley and crushed red pepper.

It turns out well

Working tonight so dinner is at like 4. Snack when I get home will be mixed salted nuts.
