If my conversation is right, that's only about 2.5 oz of protein a day?? Holy cow. I'd never survive on that.

hi Meredith
Meat and other protein foods contain not only protein, but also fat, water/moisture, sometimes carbohydrates and small amounts of non-digestible elements. On average, one ounce of meat contains 7 grams of protein, as does a large egg or one ounce of hard cheese. So, 70 grams of protein would come from approximately 10 ounces of fresh meat, or a combination of meat, eggs and/or cheese
hope that helps
