Hi! Also in South Africa. It is tough finding stuff, I relate.

I ordered coconut oil from: http://www.organicsonline.co.za
Couldn't find it elsewhere.

I found Xylitol in a health food shop at the mall. Splenda is now in Pick & Pay, yeah! Heinz 1-carb tomato sauce is also at P&P, but only the larger ones...

Have you found stuff anywhere else?

Hello fellow South Africans!
I have also struggled to find low carb stuff.
I discovered that you can buy xylitol at Diskem, flax seed = linseed at Diskem, P&P or health shop (essential for making the wonderful MIM) muffin in a minute for those who don't know what MIMs are
Soy protein isolate is called "just Protein" also found at Diskem.
I use it a lot to make Atkins baking mix, and also to thicken home make choc shakes (which are divine.) its very low in carbs.
If you want any recipes just shout!
In general I am loving my new WOE (way of eating) and do not crave any of my old frankenfoods.... Feb 18th will be my 1st anniversary and although I only lost 10kg my health has never been better I am 57 YO and I feel as if I turned the clock back by 10 years at least! Yeah Atkins!!!!
Hoping to read some of your news,
Till then,
Goodbye
Sylvana
