Default Trying another coffee alternative: Teeccino

With my new determination to avoid caffeine, I've been poking around for more options this morning, found one here:

http://teeccino.com/

And ordered some sample packs, with free shipping! Nice of them.

Actually, I got all excited, ordered two samples... and discovered AFTER that they had barley in them. And I got a reaction from Sugar Plum Spice Tea! (ERMAGERD, they have reformulated it to be gluten free!) (it's not easy being gluten-free...)

So I went back and got their gluten free alternative samplers, too.

I adore my Crio Bru (roasted, ground cocoa beans) and am ready to test their contention that they have theobromine and not caffeine... but not yet. I'm still wrestling with severe adrenal fatigue and I've messed up enough not dropping caffeine entirely until now.

Found some at the health food store!

These are the Tee-bags... less intense and less body than the stuff I would brew like coffee. I like it though! If it were fuller, I think I have another winner.

I love Teechino, but yeah... barley malt. They do claim to be gluten free even with the barley.

I have some of the dandelion root stuff coming for the gluten free reason. The tee-bags filter out any bits.

What dandelion root stuff did you find? Everything I find seems to have barley.

If you click on the Herbal Coffee tab, and hold it, there's a section marked gluten free.
