High dose MSM might help - it helps with interstitial cystitis and the urge incontinence that comes with it.

Hmmm, interesting. Thanks.

I actually started taking a supplement with MSM in it several weeks ago and things have gotten a tiny bit better. My knees feel better too.

Please explain what the T.E.D. device that you got actually is. I clicked the link and see a page of Kegel exercisers but nothing about a TED device.

Sorry, that was TENS device which is the second picture. I'll do back and correct the spelling.

Here's what it looks like from amazon.com though it was much cheaper from alibaba

Judy, I was taking 1500mg three times a day. You may not need that much though.

Update

Started taking coarse flake MSM ~3 weeks ago. Great improvement.

Don't know how many big end measuring scoops (4-6?) mixed in 8 oz container with distilled water. This is left on counter and shaken before taking about one ounce twice a day. Took another container to work to leave on desk.

So I take one ounce early morning and one ounce at work around 10:30-11.

I used to have a problem with incontinence until I noticed a correlation between it and my dairy consumption and began to test it. It turned out that when I eat dairy I have incontinence. When I don't eat any dairy I have no incontinence at all. (Butter's okay; I think the problem is either the casein or the whey.)

I asked my naturopath why this would happen. She wasn't surprised at all and said that it happens because inflammation causes that sphincter muscle to fail. Dairy causes me that much inflammation.

For me the solution is a dairy free diet (I'm already gluten free all the time.) If I slip up and eat cheese I know I'm going to need one of those Poise liners for a few days that I so hate to have to use.
