Having major problems with our internet. We can get on, but then it just spins or bounces off the page. I posted yesterday and, when previewing it, I lost the whole post. I thought it was just my computer or a virus, but all of our computers are doing it along with my son's "smart" tv. It's been doing it since Thanksgiving so I'm going to call the internet service if it continues.

Cricket: Great job on your loss. Hoping it continues for you. Sorry you are still having periodic shoulder pain. Hopefully, you can get a balance soon between being able to do the exercises and not having pain.

Jodi: Glad to hear you're back on plan and already seeing a loss.

Paulette: I agree with Cricket that you just need to get rid of what you don't need. I was adamant about not getting a hysterectomy years ago, but really, there's no reason to keep all those female organs. Just another risk for cancer and other issues. Sorry that you re continuing to gain. I think that issue will also be resolved once you can get this all taken care of.

Tam: Great to have you back, and you continue to lose. Great job! Sounds like you had a little bit of a rough time growing up. I also have noticed that sometimes it's the really intelligent people that deal with mental or social issues. It's really nice that you accept that and still show her the love and attention that she deserves. My family dynamics are somewhat boring, but I guess I'm lucky in that respect.

Kathy: Sorry for the little bounce, but at least you stayed in ketosis.

Himi: Looks like you are losing that gain!

Chrissie: Hope you saw a loss today!

I'm not going to preview my post as I'm afraid of losing it again, so I apologize for any typos. But, I'm sure Cricket will have me beat!

I haven't heard how our friend is doing as I've been hesitant to contact the family as I think they are probably still in FL. We belong to a Harley chapter 60 miles from our home but, even with the distance, we are usually at the shop 3-4 times a month. He was the founder of the shop and it's now run by the kids. They were supposed to be home this week for the shop party tomorrow and the chapter party Saturday night. They are still having the party, but I'm not sure if anyone will feel much like celebrating. We are still waiting to hear about funeral arrangements. My husband mentioned yesterday that he was having a really hard time with his death. I had been thinking the same thing as they have all been on my mind several times a day. They were such really nice people and did so much for everyone they knew. Thanks for all of your concern.

Hi BARB... Hope your INTERNET probplem gets respolved. Mine is here to stay
Seems to me, that the holiday party would be the perfect time to celebrate a memorial of life for your friend. I am not a Chrisitan, but i do know that Christmas celebrates the life of a person not the death, and so this should follow. Just my thought.

BARB, a blind person never having used a typewriter would have less typos than I have!

COLD night here.. horses got thier winter clothes on at feeding time. BRRRRR.... OK... have had enough of winter.. ready for spring again

Have a great nite.. doing the usual sleeping in segments..gonnna [play some solitaire and bore myself to sleep.

I am up 2.4 lbs this morning. And the super low cals are not helping any. sigh. I don't know why I even thought it would make a difference.

Anyway, I feel better this morning. No more fever. Don't know what that was all about. I don't have a cold or anything...feel perfectly fine today.

On a better note, I got my yogurt maker yesterday. I ran to the store and bought a quart of half-n-half and a little live yogurt to start my cultures. Prepped the mixture and put it in the maker. This morning I have a quart of perfect, full-fat yogurt! I just put it in the fridge to cool down so I haven't tasted it yet, but it is nice and thick and I'm sure very delicious. I will have to work out the nutrition and plop it in my tracker software so I can plan my menus correctly. The cultures use up the lactose, so it should be lower in carbs than any store-bought yogurt. I am very happy I got this!

BARB - sorry you are having internet issues. How frustrating to type a whole response then have it vanish! I hope your plans for the funeral work out for you.

CRICKET - YAY! I am so happy to see you are losing very well these past couple days!!!! And I agree - I hope the Doc takes out all the unneeded internal organs. I am starting to hate them, anyways.

KATHY - so much for the mini trampoline! I hope you can see a big slide today. I don't think I shall be seeing any sort of silde real soon.

TAM - Hope you are feeling better today! And congrats on being able to cut out the Victoza! I hope your BS's continue to be normal without it!

HIMI - I hope you are able to see a loss and get out of the red, too, today.

CHRISSIE - Hope all is well with you!

Today I have to start working again. My mini-vacy is over and time to get this stuff done. Will be eating tuna today, and trying a little of that yogurt! I will let you guys know how it turned out. Have a great day all!

I forgot to add - I also bought some dandelion tea. It is organic and just the leaves. I will try a couple cups of that today to see if it has any diuretic properties as is told. Today will be another low cal day for me.

HI PAULETTE WOnder what the tea tastes like? Yes. let us know if it works. The low cals do work. Are working. The fact is that the water retention is sooooo high it is masking the drop due to calories.. and the low calories does need to be for a bit of time to even register..it would take one week of taking in 500 calories LESS a day to get that one pound.Your body is already accustomend to a general calorie range so 500 calories per day is going to take some time...Better to just do as you are doing and cut out the cals you do not need to have without making yourself miserable.

I got on the flippin scale early this morning.. do not know why I do that to yslef! My ring is not snug and I am in a really solid ketosis so stupid me thought MAYBE...just maybe.. nope had shown a gain not to the start but still.... and no pills..
Leaving in a few to the eye doc want galsses to see!!! Have not seen anything clear with both eye open since surgery OCT 7th. Tired of seeing everything off balance like a 3-D movie without the red/green glasses!

Hello! I just tasted my yogurt. It is thick and creamy and does not taste sour at all. I wish I could let you guys sample it! I think I will enjoy adding this to my menu.

AND I just drank a cup of dandelion tea. It tastes leafy, like regular tea. I just drank it plain. I am going to make myself another cup, but I think I will add some lemon to it this time to make it taste better. If this helps, I will be happy. If it does nothing, then live and learn....

CHRISSIE - hello!!! Good to see you.

CRICKY - good luck at the Peeper Place today! I hope you can get good glasses! No one wants to look at a 3D movie without the proper glasses!

Here is a picture of my yogurt. See how thick it is. I have not strained it to remove more whey, but if I do, it will be very thick. I may do this to make some cream cheese!

CHissie.. runing after all those little humans in training is HARD!

POLLIE~~ that looks like sourcream which I love more than yougurt..I like vanila yogurt though plain as I get! I give you a lot of hats off to PAULEETE for making this! I am too lazy..

ot one pair of reading with Medicare credit and another with BC.BS post catarat for 20% fee...still, with the cheapest frames and lenses it was $65.00 not bad. I DID go to Wlamart to get a 2nd pair of each..that was another $101 for the 2.. and one frame was $9.00 and the other $28.00 the $29 lenses sure add up. I know myself and I am always looking and searchfing for my glasses..so, one pair for the purse, one for the Library When my vision pplan comes in JAN1st I'll go back to the optomotrist for the bifocals which are costly for driving and I can get nice frames and good lenses.WIll leave them in the car!
I am up 1.0 from yesterday..OH well.. better learn to use the trampoline, but not for long. I HAVE to drop out of the friggin 150's and have said that for MONTHS NOW!!!
