Progress: 46%
Default One week on the fat fast.

I tried the fat fast a few weeks ago and lost a bit of weight but i did it sporadically.

I finally have a week on my own at home with no distractions so i am going to give it another go and this time for a full week.

I thought i would document my progress here for the benefit of everyone else who is thinking of trying it.

Tomorrow is the official Day 1.

I have everything i need and hopefully won't have to deal with any major issues that are going to test my will power.

For details of how my last fat fast worked you can check my journal.

I can't say that i am typically metabolically resistant but i have been stalled lately and i am in a bit of hurry to get rid of these last few pounds -

I won't reply to any posts about my current weight already being in the healthy BMI range as my goal of 100-105lb is a personal preference and also... my jeans are not lying.

OK- Here we are!
Morning of Day 1.

I am having for breakfast, coffee and cream.
Meanwhile i'm boiling my ration of eggs for the rest of the day.
I'm doing eggs and mayonaise today.

I find it easier to just do ONE type of fat fast meal as opposed to several as it means less preparing and time in the kitchen and less washing up at the end of the day.

I'm currently 122lb (again)....

Hopefully i can shift the scale by tomorrow.

Default Day 2-

i weighed in this morning at 119.04lb!!
I can't believe it!

I drank about 8 glasses of water yesterday.
Today i'll try and add a few more than that!

Am just about to have breakfast.
I'm pretty excited about this diet.
Hopefully i'll be able to do it properly this time and not deviate in anyway.

Has anyone else done this fat fast before??
I'd like to hear some other peoples experience with it.

I tried to do it last week, but nuts are a binge food for me, and , well, I don't want to go into detail.

well my last fat fast was cut short by a surprise visit from some friends, but they always go quite well.

we can all buddy up for a short 3-4 day fat fast in the goals and challenges forum.

it's GREAT to jump start a diet.

ok great!!

When do you guys want to start?

i'm ok to start any time, but i think we should set a small goal like 4-5 days not longer.

There is a load of info on this diet in my journal.
Let me know when you guys want to start....
I'm going to post the challenge now.
