Default Hi From Fort Smith

Hi I'm Tonja from Fort Smith. Have you been there yet? I go to Russellville once in a while as my brother-in-law and his family live there. I went to college in Russellville as well. Where did you move from? There are beautiful lakes so ya need a boat to enjoy nature around here! haha
I grew up 35 miles west of Russellville in a small town called Paris, but now live in the BIG city--population 80,000. I love living here, though, and hope that you'll be happy here too.
Just email if you'd like to chat anytime. Tonja

I went to college in Conway and have been to Russellville before. My girlfriends and I ate at some small Italian restaurant in the "downtown" area. I knew two gals from there: Carolyn Chitwood and Neha Metha. Neha's probably in residency or a doctor by now and I have no idea what the other one is doing now. She might be working for the college we graduated from. Know them? They would be around 26 or 27 years old.

You might want to check out Pinnacle Mt. in the Little Rock area. Great place to hike and get in a scenic work out one weekend. It's a far drive for a workout but it's nice to do every once in a blue moon on the weekend.

I hope to go to my 5 year college reunion but I may end up in Florida with my hubby on a business trip. My husband's new territory includes Arkansas. If I ever head up that way with him, maybe we can do a low-carb lunch!

Ciao bella,
Tara

Hi, i just found this site. I have lived in the Bentonville, AR area for the last 15 yrs. Moved here from Kansas City Mo where i lived for 30 yrs.
I'm married and have 2 girls and 2 grandkids.

I was diagnoised with Diabetes a year ago and have been doing really well on the low carb diet. My blood sugars are great and it has been kind of easy for me. I just think of all the problems i will have if i don't watch it like a hawk.

I would love to chat with you if you don't mind talking to a grandma. ha I love to travel also and read alot. I like romance period and all kinds of books. Reading "the lawyer" by Grisham right now.
Have a wonderful day

Hi CarbDiab

I'm a grandma here, too. One son, two daughters, 3 grandsons.

I live in Lincoln and work in Fayetteville--been here around 26 years or so.

Believe me, I can relate--and my grandkids live just a couple of miles from me. I don't get to see them nearly as often as I'd like.

I have a daughter living in Kansas now, she is going to nursing school at Baker College in Topeka.

You look to young to be a grandma. I don't really have a goal. I just want to keep the Diabetes in check and the low carb is perfect for that. But it is fun to get new cloths in alot smaller sizes. ha
