How do you find the right balance of fats and protein?

I was looking for some easy choices during the week to compete with the 85% fat 15% protein day and the 75% fat 25% protein...

any links for easy food to make?

Eggs, Beef, Chicken, Fish, PB. That, plus oil, mayo, mustard, cream, butter. That's all you need.

For adding fats I use Flax oil and fish oil caps.
Olive oil, coconut oil and butter also.
I keep my ratios around 65/35/<5

Do you ever fry food in a skillet and is that ok to do.I figure I can live on chicken, chicken wings and ground beef and fish...

I like to cook in Coconut oil

Oh, by the way...is "PB" Peanut Butter? Is that too many carbs during the week?

Skillet fried is just fine, coconut oil, butter, as long as it's not hydrogenated and you're good to go.

Peanut butter is a low-carb food, but it's not a no carb food and the carbs, as you know, can add up quickly. So, the answer is you can eat it but must keep a good tab on you daily carbs if you want to fit it in. And natty is, of course, better than regular pb, cause it has no hydrogenated oil in it and no sugar added.

I think your protein is too low, 25% is surely the lowest you'd want to go. The lower your calories, the higher percentage you want protein.

Someone should chime in here with protein requirements. .8g/lb sound right?

This was from the guide. I used my BMR to calculate my calories accordingly;

Day Fat Fat(kcal) Fat(g) Protein Protein(kcal) Prot(g) Carbs Total Calories

Sunday 85% 2859 318 15% 504 126 0 Min 3363
Monday 75% 2390 266 25% 797 199 0 Min 3186
Tuesday 65% 1956 217 35% 1053 263 0 Min 3009
Wednesday 70% 2230 248 30% 956 239 0 Min 3186
Thursday 70% 2230 248 30% 956 239 0 Min 3186
Friday 65% 1956 217 35% 1053 263 0 Min 3009
CARB UP 10% 500 56 20% 1000 250 70% 3500 5000

So I do go 65>35 2 days during the week.

Ugh. No way to put a spread sheet in?
