You can easily do alterations on Atkins while doing BFL workouts. Check out the CKD threads in the CKD forum. TKD might be helpful to you as well.

Good luck!

I've done bfl, and i've done atkins. I lose more weight and bf% with atkins, but become stronger and gain more mass with bfl. I'm hoping by joining the two I could become lean and drop my bf%.

That's why I suggest looking at the various "carb up" strategies offered with techniques like NHE, TKD, CKD, and carb cycling. This is what I do, and it's the BOMB!

Don't forget the stickies at the top of the BFL forum written by Natrushka. Lots of advice about combining Atkins and BFL.

The goal is to find a level of carbs that you can feel good and get in good workouts.

I just started the same type of regimen with my training from BFL and LC in the nutrition department (still sticking with 5-6 meals a day though). I try to keep it mostly low carb, but with a few extra carbs here and there (ie, I allow myself low carb bread and occasionally 1/2 cup low carb ice cream, and sometimes add 20-40g of dextrose 1/2 hr pre-workout).

It's only been a week but my clothes are starting to get looser already... This is the first time i've been really serious about training (before it was 1x/week whole body workout on a home gym). I'm definately going to go the full 12 weeks and see what happens... wish me luck
