Default carb-up/glucose disposal opinion please...:)

I was looking through some different products and i was looking at this one called LOADED, here are the nutrition facts on it do you guys think its worth buying?

Nutrition Facts
Serving Size: 2 Capsules
Servings Per Container: 30
Amount Per Serving % Daily Value*
Glycocyamine (Guanidinoacetic Acid) 250 mg
Alpha Lipoic Acid 100 mg
R-Alpha Lipoic Acid 100 mg
3-0-Methyl-Chiroinositol 100 mg
Vanadyl Sulfate 10 mg

I just bought some chromium today but i was just reading the forums and they reccomend R-ALA the most for shuttling glucose. I've never fooled around with glucose disposal agents before, very interesting. Should I take my chromium (which is all i have right now) during my carb up and at the beggining of my low carb phase to establish ketosis quicker, correct? I bought these at the 99 cent store haha i was walking around and I seen the bottle so i said F*** it and i purchased em. Each tablet is 200mcg, how many should i take a day? When should i take em exactly? And should i get something more potent than this for glucose disposal? if so should i stop taking chromium or take it with that? also what would be the effects of supplementing pottasium and magnesium in CKD? what is pottasium and magnesium used for exactly? too many questions sorry peeps....im very inquisitive and beleive me i had more i just forgot for the moment. Tommorow is my first depletion workout and I organized it and wow its gonna be killer haha im excited! ill probably have to pop a caffeine pill to help me get through it but ill let you guys know how it went! DUCE!

Unless you want to go through a diabetic seizure I wouldn't take more than 200mcg on a carbup, that's some very powerfull stuff and it can be dangerous if you take to much.

Chromium builds up in your system so only take one a day. If anything I'd skip taking it on a carb up and take it during your keto phase.

Which part of this would lead to diabetic seizure?

Chromium. It can increase the blood sugar spike big time which is pretty painfull. Seizure is not a given, but it gets you close and it hurts. I've been through it :^(.

I'm confused. Isn't a diabetic seizure caused by a DROP in blood sugar? That's why it can be induced by an insulin overdose - which has been used for certain psychiatric conditions, for example.

A SPIKE in blood sugar in a body without sufficient insulin for its disposal can make you really thirsty and appear drunk, but I hadn't been aware of any seizures from this. And I don't think we're talking about folks without type I (insulin dependent) diabetes.

Got more on this?

I have been using R ALA, Chromium, Vanadyl Sulphate and never had any problems.
Right not I am only using R ALA and ALA
R ALA pre and Posts workouts.
Ala Daily in the AM.

Also, Chromium doesn't seem to do much for me.
200mcg three times a day no results no problems.

Yeah, I remember a whole lot of hype surrounding chromium piccolinate, which I had to buy on the grey market in Canada a few years back. Didn't do a damned thing.

???

I found the info built, I was a bit off but this is what happens:

Chromium is supposed to help with insulin resistance. The down-side is that it can cause hypoglycemic attacks because it helps insulin too well to remove glucose from your system.

I had it backwards but if you take more than 200mcg a day it can cause problems. NEVER overtake this stuff, I'm sure there are plenty of people who can attest to its negative effects.

Well, I've never actually heard of this before, but I don't think chromium is all that shit-hot anyway, so it's a moot point as far as I'm concerned. It never did ANYTHING for me.

I don't like pre-fab stacks. If you want ALA, TAKE ALA. That way, you can more easily control the dose.

you know what, that chromium doesn't feel that effective. No wonder they sold it at the 99 cent store...

Yeah, that was my feeling on it, too.

Only I paid a LOT more than 99 cents...
