Cool quick simple question....please HELP

Hey people,
I'm new to this forum and i just had a very simple question that im sure most you could answer. I'm trying to figure out my ratios right now and im more confused than ever which is weird because this should be relatively simple. Earlier i was reading in the forum and someone indicated that when on BODY OPUS (my current diet plan)"if you're M-Friday fat grams are 150, you should have 100g of protein per day too". This is where i got confused, in the book Dan says if you eat 2700 calories a day you would be eating 800 calories of protein and the other 1900 calories fat, that would mean 200 grams of protein but would that be 211 or 475 grams of fat? according to the other guy 200 grams of protein would require 300 grams of fat. I know protein counts as 4 calories per gram, does fat count as 4 calories or 9 calories per gram during ketosis? are we dividing the ratios (30/70)by grams? or calories?Thankyou for reading and please help clear this up if you can. also any additional tips especially in carb up phase would be appreciatted. .....thanks again, Adrian C.

Well, to make it real simple you can just use the online CKD parameter calculator found here.

Works for me!

Fat is always 9 calories a gram. Ketones are less, maybe 4 or so. I wouldn't know how to count fat calories on a CKD personally, but I would assume use 9. I know that the body adapts to using mostly free fatty acids instead of ketones after a few weeks, so any "metabolic advantage" disappears.
