Karen- I saw in one of your posts that you "wonder" about lurkers. Well, I have been lurking for about a month. I am VERY reluctant to join any kind of online community, but I think this one is great. I've been living low-carb for about three weeks (well, off and on for three) weeks, and even with such a lackadaisical performance I have lost inches already! And some very annoying health problems are clearing up (irritable bowel, for one). Oops, my boss just came in! More later! Have a great lwo-carb day everyone!

Well, I just wanted to say that I'm so excited to have found this WOE after struggling for months and months with a low-fat diet that always left me hungry. Sometimes I do get cravings for something sweet, but since I now feel how yucky I feel when I eat refined sugars and carbs, it's starting to be just not worth it. Oh, I fear I have nothing new to say that you all haven't heard before! I am not weighing myself so cannot report pounds lost. The way I got to this WOE was when I didn't lose any weight for the zillionth week in a row on low-fat, and something (the mind of God?) just planted a little idea in my brain that said: try low carb try low carb try low carb try low carb. I felt I was betrying all my low-fat gurus (I won't tell you who). But now I am free, and I know what works for me.

Cheers!
Gwen
