Actually these shoud be called

reduced carb, not for induction, my family won't touch with a ten foot pole mashed potatoes from instant.

When he have meat with low carb gravy I prefer mashed potatoes with my meal so what I do:

I replace the milk with heavy cream / 0 carbs
I devide the potatoes in half ( half flakes, half tofu o carbs )
cream these together for a more consistant
texture

I reduce my fluids in the ingredients or they come out to runny.
I add spices and other seasonings but you can also add cheese etc.

These are wonderful, not for everyday and equal 8 grams of carbohydrates. Now, I am happy.
