I don't seem to be going any higher so should be dropping again soon. I cannot let the reading on 'the scale' give up the plan on losing.

I don't feel discouraged, just, well, sigh .
There are so many factors that go into what we weigh every day - hormones, amount of physical activity the day before, dehydration, inflammation from illness, etc. You have to look at the longterm and feelings of health, too, I think and then adjust mentally accordingly. One reason I weigh every day is for the feedback. If I eat something that causes inflammation, that shows up on the scale. I can avoid it knowing that eventually it leads to permanent gain. I have severe food allergies that have gotten more severe over time (always an adventure!) mixed in with trying to eat a weight control WOE. Because of that I have had to learn to be flexible and realistic with everything.
