THIS GROUP follows ULTRA LOW CARB PLANS...of different types that stem from the teachings of DR ATKINS and John Kiefer. I had what looks like a big 3.6 bl whoosh! But I am weighing on my Mom's scale. I don't know what my scale will say. It seems to weigh a bit higher. I shall see by tomorrow morning. But it sure looks great to me, and is now my lowest low.

KATHY - I am so sorry to hear of your dilemma and your slip. You did what you did and you fully accept it. I sure hope the scale does not punish you too harshly. Try to be positive. It helps.

CHRISSIE - Like you said, the extra sodium will do its job. I only hope it leaves as quickly as it came. And I am happy you survived it. Your CN is in 2 days, so I hope you have your plan ready!

HIMI - OH! What a great surprise with the new bunny! I hope there is a whole slew of mini kisses! Congrats on your loss and the NEW LOW!!!! You waited a long time to see it!

RAINS - Can't wait until you can get back!

BARB - Hope things are going well!

CRICKY - Hope you had a great night and enjoyed the movie. I never saw Apollo 13 so don't spoil it for me! I enjoyed sitting out in the sun yesterday on my Mom's porch. It got up to 63˚ and was beautiful!!!!

I will be spending the morning here at Mom's and eating lunch here before going home. She saves her baked cod for me (from her meals-on-wheels) because she hates fish. So I had it yesterday and will have it again today. We made shredded beef for dinner last night and it was delicious. I made sure I did not have more than 6 oz!!! Beef sits in my guts forever it seems, so I did not want a lot. Later today I will have a big tuna salad on Spring Mix greens.

I do have work to do, so I am going to get started while Mom is still sleeping. You have a great day!

YEA on your whoosh PAULETTE.. it maybe pretty accurate!!! WTG! Nice to get the fish you love there I like fish as well.Sued to actually have every single day in the late 60's.We lived near the LI SOUND and had a fishing boat. The ex went before and after work and weekends and our 2 freezers were alwys full.. so were the neighbors' LOL.. and s ince I got to clean every darned one, our flowers and bushes were amazing!!!

KATHY - SH*T happens. You will lose it quickly but that is not the issue.. BACK to finding ways to stay stronger. I really do think by going off your plan you open the door for these things to happen. This is not the KATHY of the old days. I know y ou can get a grip and stay on track. I saw you looked into a link for CNS?? may be the way to go but the carbs are a LOT less than your plan and the food selctions are as well. Look into it carefully to make sure this might be for you. I think it could be. I'm with you all the way!

CHRISSIE - YEP.. sodium is the killer of the number game. At least you will drop that fast. Looks like we both have CN on the same day of the week! Happy for the company.

HIMI - Told Carl about the new bunny.. he thought it was so cute too!Wishing your scale gets to a new milestone in record time! You have also been going through so much.. new kitchens, orphaned foal,kids going to school.. mission trips.. and on the loop de loop rides all the time! WHEW..just wore me out thinking about this..and the AUCTIONS!! GEESH!

RAINS - shout outs. Hope you send me e-mails like you promised!! It is too late at night by the time you settle everyone down WIll call later..

BARB - how was the concert?? Hope the roads are drying out there. I thought about you yesterday.. the bikers are out in full force already..must have been 100 in the parking lot at Harley dealership Friday.

OK... I did have alate burger with relish ( SF of course) and some diet soda that I have been having too much of..and this morning the scale is up again to the tune of 1.2 more pounds. WTF GRRR ARGGHHH #$%^&*()_+ is going on here. How senstitive can one person be! Reslish always blows me up.. also had some small olives.. maybe that too added..all I know is that today is dedicated to no sodium foods. Will have scarmbled eggs in butter. another miserable chicken legg.. GAG.... right up there with tuna.. maybe tuna is better ...My CN is the 15th TUES and I do not want to begin on a higher note! I will but not happpy even if it IS water.

Tomorrow I will buy a couple of more bananas and oranges to have for lunch
and snacks. THere is almost NO proteins in the cereals so the shake will have to do.I will add it to the milk for the cereal. The protein is good tasting and vanilla so it will work fine.That is 30 gs right there. I will have another serving to drink alone..not filling at all..and maybe I will even use that in a smaller bowl of cereal ..absolutely spike city there. That is for a lunch.. spike. MAYBE noonish as long as I can stretch it out.. Dinner spike next.. around 5 ish I think.. still no fats so far...will make some seafood I guess. Shrimp and coctail sauce....(.I NEED HELP here...all the meats I like are fatty not lean. I want to save the fats for after dinner before bedtime...)
SO, I have shrimp for my protein and some maybe fish sticks I can broil up.. and the french fries I bought last week too. ACtually THIS SOUNDS GOOD TO ME. SHRIMP and BAKED FISH NITE WITH FRIES. I have minimal to almost no fats here.... ADD to this my corn on the cob I never had last week!!! With this I can get only a small bit of shrimp and save some money!
Carl loves fish sticks so he can enjoy it as well He works so hard 24/7 and I am delequent in his care! He says don't be silly but I am an old world girl and accustomend to cooking and fussing.. the past few years have gotten away from that ..his choice.. sooo.. I will feel good to do this for him!
OK.. now for the third and final spike fo the evening... snacks..oy.. ice cream no brainer there... and a lot of it. Bear claw, protein shake to wash it down! maybe some cheese cake I still have frozen from CN #1 !
THAT menu seems good to me. Protein every meal and it will spike..fats not until late.. corn will have a smidge... fruit to snack good carbs..on CNS good to have list... fats at bedtime.. high carb and calorie.

OUT to sit and enjoy life. I will get Cookie and maybe if I am crazy enough. saddle up the rodeo queen and walk around a few minuted before she tosses me!....or maybe not

Well my new low was short-lived-- had a nice healthy bounce. BUT still a loss for the week.... however small..... and i am not too surprised-- this seems to be my pattern, plus Iwas out lifting and moving things yesterday, plus I made a delicious brisket with a salty rub and wrapped it it bacon and cooked it on low for several hours-- lots of salty goodness, and we picked at it late into the evening. Sooooo..... I know the new low is under there somewhere and hopefully it will sneak back out sooner than later!

Hubby has lost 9 pounds in 3.5 weeks so far-- not bad seeing how he is eating SF candy, has berries and cream every few days, has summer sausage and jerky regularly, and drinks diet pop.... but he is TOTALLY avoiding sugary treats and wheat and potatoes and noodles, which is a BIG step for him-- if he can lose without being strict its still a loss and he is eating way better than he was previously.

Congrats on the NEW new low Paulette, hope it translates to the home scale-- if not turning out even lower.

Kathy, shove fat/crying/depressed Kathy right back under the rock she snuck out from and show her who is boss!

Barb who did you go hear/see sing? Did I miss it?

Chrissie now that you and I have had our stall and our sodium bounce we can get down to losing business, right?

Cricket I hope you got that ride in!

HI HIMI... at least you have a LOSS!!!! GOOD GOING and with all the sodium..WOW!!
Got to fix fences with Carl. Horses pushed oover wire and stretched unelectrified slick and poly tape..ALL nice and hot now!
HOPE eveyone goes to the new thread and post theire numbers there today!!!

THIS GROUP follows ULTRA LOW CARB PLANS...of different types that stem from the teachings of DR ATKINS and John Kiefer. I was home a total of 5 minutes yesterday. We didn't get home until 12:30 and then lost an hour's sleep. A town close to us has a concert every year at their high school and they try to get older country bands. Tickets are only $27 and we were in the 2nd row in the center of the stage. Great seats! We saw Billy Dean and Restless Heart. In past years, we've seen Sawyer Brown, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and Shannondoah there. I would have enjoyed it more if I wouldn't have been so busy.

Went to church this morning and then back into work. Bob needs to go to NJ this weekend, if at all possible, and I'm not going to be able to go unless I feel comfortable that I will get this work done and out to the employees by the end of the month. On top of it all, yesterday, I found out that I am going to have to have salary proposals for all of our staff complete by the first week of April...six weeks earlier than usual....and we have another computer upgrade on the 23rd that I'm supposed to test for.....that's not going to happen!

I have a couple of things to get done at home here, but will try to get back on later tonight.

I think you were in the games last year for this concert! Happy you had a grand time

You really need an assistant or hourly wage! What you are doing is not possible for one person in 40 hours.
