I am still going to do my pilates before bed...REALLY THIS TIME!

Tomorrow will be better. I have alot to do around the house to get ready for FIL to get home.

Keep up the great work everyone!

How did it go Kim?

Spring Break starts tomorrow!

Today will be the last of packing/cleaning!

I'm so excited bc I will get out of here for a long-brisk walk at the park tomorrow! *Can't wait!*

{Especially after the binge..I really need the fresh air. See my J. for what happened.}

Today will be more of the chair stepper..

Up/Down takin' things from open faced cabinets.

Once cleaned/packed, I'll have to make several trips up/down our stairs to place in closet.

Better than nothin'!

BTW, I start Atkins induction on Sat.
I hope to see great results.

Hope you guys:

Gotta take Cory to get shoes/shorts/jeans. He is one growin' teen!

I'm scared to death to see his shoe size now! The shoes he has now are a Men's 10 1/2! {He just turned 13 in Jan.}

He's 5'10 and has been shaving since last year!

[I'm 5'8] Already taller than his mama!

Hubby is right at 5'8, I'm only a hair taller than him. Looks worse when I have on thick shoes or heels..lol

My dad is 6'3 and my Nannie is 6 ft.!

Cory is takin' after my dad's side of family of giants! *HeeHee*

Gonna be another busy day!

Once home I'll start dinner and then we're all going to the park to walk and play frisbee w/ZuZu. They will probably play with her the most bc I need to get some serious walkin' in!

Won't be dark until around 9pm bc of spring forward! *woohoo!*

Hope you wore Pedometer for the mall Kim so you can log steps!

If you forgot......>

Where is everyone?

Finally got to the park! lol
3,074 Steps/1.3 ml/82 cals burned.

Wish I could have done more but it's so humid today you could cut the air w/a knife! *Yuck!* My cramps started to kick in again as well.

Still, better than nothin'!

ZuZu is passed out on the cold kitchen floor! She drank all her water and then fell over.

Bless her heart, she has all that fluffy fur!

I'm still around. I've only got in a couple of good walking days this week. Tomorrow should be better since I'm off to the Dallas Quilt Show where I will be walking and on my feet all day.

I've been stressed out the last couple days. My 14 year old son (9th grade) was injured by another boy at school. The other boy is a Senior and probably 18 years old. They were playing unsupervised in the gym and the older boy got angry at my son, picked him up over his head and body slammed him to the floor onto his back. My son is 5'3" and weighs 100lbs and this other boy is at least 6' and probably 185lbs.

We had to take my son to the doctor for xrays and he has horrible bruises up and down his spine where his bones hit the ground. I've never seen anything like it. Horrible.

We met with the VP and school police officer yesterday. The boy came in and apologized and seemed very sorry. I was most disappointed with the VP and police officer who seemed more interested in making excuses for the boy. They refuse to tell us what disciplinary actions will be taken against the boy. It's a small school and we'll find out, but I felt like they were going to be letting him slide with a couple of days of in-school suspension.
My son just wants it over with and doesn't want anyone to get into trouble.

So I'm FRUSTRATED! I want to ring someone's neck, but I know for my son's sake making a huge deal out of this is only going to cause him problems at school. Ughhhh!

I should be walking off my frustrations.....but no here I sit.

I am so sorry to hear that Nicky. My dh is a police officer and has to deal with that stuff all the time from our schools...thus, we homeschool. He was placed in a position just a couple months ago that was 'sports/politically' driven. The schools tend to baby their athletes, even if they are in the wrong. They tried to get my husband to press charges that would have been false. Him, being just about the only good cop they have up there, refused and denied the alligations they were claiming. (they were claiming they saw this student hit my dh, which was wrong. they just wanted this other student in trouble. my dh was never hit.) It would have been great for the star quarterback if charges were to have been placed. Just goes to show how some school authorities think. Sports=extra fund$$$$$$$$$.....therefore, good athletes get away with alot! I hope your son is feeling better soon!

Omigosh!! How terrible!!

SOOOO Sorry!

Good grief that makes me angry!

I hope he heals very quickly in spirit and w/body!

That would make me want to knock the crud out of the parents!

Not a Christian attitude I know...

But goodness me that is such an attack I don't know If I'd have enough control to contain my temper.

What a mess for y'all to deal with.

So sorry and hang in there sweetie!

************

Didin't get my walkin' in today and I'm upset about it.

It was such a beautiful day!

I got so involved in chores and tryin' to complete them before I picked up ZuZu from groomers.

It's so strange, when she goes to the groomers it's like I freak out and want everything super clean. I guess bc it costs so much, I don't want her to get dirty so I want the floors clean everything vacuumed, etc..

Then, after dinner I wanted to get pedicure done and toes painted for new flip flops and capri pants..lol

I will go 2 x tomorrow!

Once w/ ZuZu..{Shorter one}

Second - alone so I can really get some good brisk walkin' in.

I'll post all the steps/miles tomorrow!
