My 90 day challenge:

3 goofs used
Only LC sanctioned pizza, no other.
Goof ups allowed: 3, but not more than 2 pcs.
zero goofs left.

Would like to add on:
1 goofs used
1 T flax every morning. 10 misses allowed.
9 misses left

Adding on 1 serving of lc vegies a day. Minimum.
0 goofs used
For next 60 days, allowing 4 goofs.
4 misses left

The mission: Deep ketogenic eating everyday
The rules: Eat less than 20 net carbs per day and less than 15 net carbs at any one meal.
Other parameters: I will give myself up to 5 passes/exceptions throughout the 90 day period, but they cannot be used on consecutive days. These are not free-for-all days, but an allowance to take into account that perfection is not required.

Passes used: 5 of 5

Yesterday: 17 net carbs, 35 Total carbs. I'm still hitting the net carb goals of this challenge, but I'm straying from my recent attempt to eat less than 20 total carbs. This challenge will be completed in a week. Perhaps I'll make the total carb limit my next challenge. Being that restrictive, I might build a few more "passes" into the next challenge. It is, after all, the overall average of what we do on a daily bases that matters most.

Notes: I know it is only day four, but I am thankful for these four days and a strong start. I don't plan on using the "meals off plan" till absolutey needed. I know there will be times I will be stuck going out and I am not very good at eating low carb at a restaurant.

Ken: I have tried total cards also, and really struggled. I like your idea of having total carbs for your next challenge, but with more "passes" built in.

A very challenging day. NO power. Lack of water. Cooking limited to wood stove. Too Stressful to be able to follow usual routine. ( 10" wet snow took down MANY branches)

4. Food: higher-carb treat dinner. X

K-Mom, 'supps' are my supplements. I take a bunch to help deal with depression, arthritis, and the fact that I'm stuck with not-ideal processed food at work.

I think I'm up to 3 out of 5 Carbage Cards. Our kitchen sink was leaking and I couldn't do dishes. I'm exhausted from having to work the 3:30 am shift twice this week, then back to 10:30-6:30. DH said he felt like having pizza. I threw in the proverbial towel and happily ate out of a cardboard box.
