Default Newbie here

Hey there, Newbie here. I tried keto a couple of times but gave up and I am getting back into the low carb lifestyle. This time around I have a better mindset about it, and will focus a lot of non starchy veg. Last time I wanted to eat less of those because they were still carbs and stuff. I think that messed me up more than anything. I am trying Atkins this time around, which starts as keto of course, but eventually adds some carbs back in. I like that approach and hope it is something I can stick with. I am 5'5" and 220ish pounds, losing around 10 pounds so far on the Whole30.

So yeah, that's me and I am looking forward to my new life. I know with my body type, less carbs and more fat is the best diet for me.

I think for the last half of my whole30 thing I am going to do low carb, then reintroduce dairy first thing and hope it agrees with me. Low carb is a lot easier when you can have dairy. But if it doesnt agree with me, so be it. I will stay away from it.
