I don't think that pedometers work very well tracking "steps" on the elliptical. I worked out hard for 45 minutes and my phone recorded an "auto-detected" workout of 5 minutes. My Garmin added less than 2000 steps during the workout. I get that in 15 minutes of walking. So elliptical workout days are definitely messing up my step counts for those days. It is a good workout, though. So no worries.
I'm glad you were able to make it out, Jean. I know you were going stir crazy with cabin fever.
