Welcome back Kelly!

I am MOMD #128 for yesterday. Working on #129. Even better, today I wore, for the first time, a dress/suit that I bought 3-4 years ago and had never worn before because it was a bit too tight. Yay!

I participated in this thread awhile back and I think I need to join in again to keep myself accountable. I seem to do really well during the day and then make bad choices at night. I am one of those individuals who "can't take that first bite"! I've done this WOE successfully before and I know I can do this. I am MOMD! Doing great today and have a new determination. I'll update later tonight.

Did really well yesterday with my eating and finally got out and got some exercise. I was up a pound yesterday, but dropped almost 3 1/2 today so something worked.

MOMD #2

I am also MOMD day 3. Three days with no "little bites" feels good and the cravings have decreased.

MOMD day #4. Weight was up a little today, but I was really thirsty last night due to eating some ham yesterday, so I'm hoping it's just fluid.

Good luck on your trip, niudog! Based on past experiences and in knowing I have to make this a lifetime change, you have to be able to cheat once in awhile in order to keep up this WOE. The most important thing is to make a conscious decision for a planned cheat...rather than an impulsive cheat. Also, it helps to get right back on it when you return and are back in your routine. However, you already know this as you have been doing it much longer than I have.

I am MOMD day #5 today. We were celebrating a birthday in the office today and a couple of people brought things in. No temptation all day, but at the end of the day when everyone left and I was by myself, I thought "maybe I'll just break off a little nibble". That probably would have turned into a bigger portion and then maybe an evening of cheating. Because I was a part of this thread, I knew that if I took that bite, I would have to start over tomorrow and it wasn't worth it. It actually saved me from cheating....which is what I need.

Enjoy your trip!
