Default higher fat closer to weight loss goal?

Hi there folks
just reading into a few stories from other posters
and do know on atkins you need higher fat intake
but is this the same rule when you have less to loose. i have about 12 lbs
to go and when i increased my fat i seen my weight go up to 4 lbs over what i was. when i went back onto just higher protein and low carb it started to come down again.

i have been too scared to eat red or higher fat meat. i have been sticking to chicken tuna and such like.
Is there a reason for this? Is it because i am near my goal i need less fat or cals?

i am working out 3 times a week . cardio and burning around 500 - 700 cals a session

just now in a day i will ea

AM
some mushrooms and a protein shake

3 hours later
i piece of chicken with skin on and a small ounce of cheese

lunch
tin of tuna on a mushroom with a egg

3 hours later
another piece of chicken with skin

dinner
a 2 egg omelette with chicken or tuna
with a little cheese
