Default tandoor chef (frozen meal, decent ingredients)

Normally i prefer cooking, but i like to keep a couple of emergency meals around.
There is a line of frozen indian food called tanoor chef that i really love.

the 2 lowcarb choices are (all the others have rice included- these don't):
1. chicken tandoori with spinach- 400kcal/ 6 net carb/6g fiber/ 30 g protein
2. palak paneer- 480 kcal/ 10g net carb/ 6g fiber/ 20g protein

i think they taste great! the ingredient list is pretty decent. i find them at whole foods and natural foods stores, and also some regular groceries in the health food section.

Thanks for sharing this, Robin! They look good.
I checked out their ingredients and it does look OK to me.
Only thing that bothers me is the over 1100mg sodium per box. 590 mgs per serving, 2 servings in a box.

The chicken/spinach one looks really good! Did it have enough food to be 2 realistic servings?

Both of them are great over scrambled eggs.

Elizellen- the stats i put are for both servings- it never occurred to me that a person would actually eat half a tray

mandalay- what a great idea! i have tossed extra chicken in, but on top of an eggs sounds yummy, too! thanks.

Judy- it is a lot of sodium- but for a occasional food, i don't sweat it.
