I really feel for you mdb--I just got over it!!

When I was on it broth was my favorite food so if that is what you want to eat it would be good. I would suggest that you stay as low carb as possible without making it hard on yourself. I few more carbs will probably keep you out of ketosis but better than just eating anything handy. Whatever you decide, when you feel better you can make better decisions.

Hope you feel better quickly.

I would start once you're well, unless you have already prepared and have all the food you need. You need to rest, drink lots of liquids and not worry. You haven't started yet, so you can start once you're off your medicine and feel better.
