Hi Life4me!

Thanks for reading my "post". Glad to see someone else who has the same opionion. Looking at the success forum, there are alot of LC'ers that have done a successful job! Maybe we can share ideas that I have learned in the past several months.

Have you seen KristyC's Success Story and Journal? It doesn't look like your goal would be unrealistic at her rate, but it also looks like everyone is REALLY different, even with the same nutrition and exercise. I'm impressed with your weight loss so far - good for you!!! I'm just starting out...

Thank you so much, Wow!

What motivation, I am joining an exercise group Oct 1st. ( My husband said if I can show signs of commitment with a diet I can join an exercise class)
Well I guess I proved myself! (Obviously, I could never commit before!)

Good Luck and MUCH success. Keep me posted on your weight loss. Today marks another notch 30 lbs.

OH WOW! Good for you (the exercise class)! Way to go!
Have you started a journal yet on here? They say it helps. I've gotten a LOT of encouragement from others already with mine, and it helps me "think" out loud... You gave me a good idea - your exercise class is a great reward for your committment. I think I'll make a list of things to reward myself with for my commttment. :big hugs: Keep on keeping on!

I would definitely suggest starting a journal. It works but you have to work it. Good luck.

Congrats on your success so far!

I don't really think there's a satisfactory answer to your question. I could find you plenty of people who have done it, but I could find just as many other people have struggled with inexplicable stalls. There's no way of predicting exactly what your body is going to do, especially if you have a history of yo-yo-ing. The best goal is to acheive your eating and exercise goals. You have no control over the number on the scale, so why make it a goal? That's kind of like making it a goal to not rain on Saturday. It's out of our control.

I can tell you this much: in general, the people who lose weight rapidly keep their focus, eat cleanly, and are active. The price you pay for eating LC junk food and not exercising is generally slower weight loss. That's not to say there's anything wrong with that - that's my lifestyle! It's just a choice you have to make.
