Hello everyone..

I've successfully lost 9 kilos (about 19 pounts) and kept it off for a couple of years now.. but I really want to lose the last 11 pounds to get me to my ultimate goal of around 128 pounds or 58 kilos

I've explored many different low carb plans and I love CAD/CALP the most as I think it allows you to be disciplined enough to lose weight, ensures you get all the veg and protein you need for good health and slimness but still allows you to have a life, enjoy food and not demonize the indulgent pleasures in life

So i'm going shopping tomorrow to get lots of yummy things and get my scales back from a friend so I can weigh myself daily as i think this is one of the most intelligent things about this plan - the daily weighing and weekly averaging..

I've found if i weigh myself one day a week its not accurate enough because it could be a retaining fluid day or whatever

SO 2010 i know will be the year i finally get to my goal

Thanks everyone

Welcome!

I love this program too!

I am not a fan of using the scale since I only record my progress once a month. If I were to use it regularly, the way the Hellers' suggest sounds very reasonable.

The best of luck to you and I hope you will become a regular poster on the main thread!

I just started CAD, today, and I like the idea of it but ugh made the mistake of eating all the dang Ben and Jerry's lol. Good luck to you.

Bluebell, good luck. I'm have switched to CAD (v. 1993) myself, as I have lost the first 45 lbs, slowly, on Atkins, but want to focus and lose that last 45.

Ajacks, LOL, I also ate the whole box of ice cream, but since I've given up snacks between meals and am eating almost no splenda, I seem to be losing weight quickly!
