My 90 day "no snacking between meals" habit I'm developing.

Day 3: complete
Restarts: 2

I'm not sure if developing this habit helped but I stuck to my flexible 5 hour eating window plan yesterday. I went out last night with a group of friends to a pie restaurant. My decisions are easier now, I'm either going to have meal or I am not - no snacking. I am now very aware when I'm hungry for some reason, which actually is HARDLY EVER. I did the hunger check last night and said, "I'll have some hot tea please" I'm not sure why I'm not hungry lately but I suspect it might be related to keeping the carbs down further than my plan, narrow eating window and perhaps this new mindful habit I'm practicing. Who knows. Have a good weekend!

Habit: Daily meditation
Restarts: 1

Day 9: 8 minutes
I did my meditation in the evening instead of before bed, because I was getting really frustrated with a problem I was working on for an online CS course I started yesterday. It was still several hours before I found a solution, so I can't say it helped with that directly, but it did keep me from tearing my hair out. Hah!

Every time I see this, I get a little giggle. I was eating with chopsticks before I learned how to use a fork, so I actually eat faster with them than with fork and knife.

But give me a spoon and you'd better get out of my way. With a spoon, I can shovel food into my face like a champ.

lol ... and the thing is, when I decided to do chopsticks, I made the mistake of buying myself some nice titanium ones, never imagining how dang hard it is to pick up anything with smooth metal chopsticks! It slows me down considerably, to say the least ...
