I'll join you. I have been doing this since Tues. and have lost 8 lbs. Of course, about 4 is water weight and TOM just came this a.m. so I'm expecting a whoosh in 5 days. Today, I've had eggs and bacon for breakfast and just now got done eating beef roast. Am going out to dinner tonight but will be back at it tmr. for just 3-5 days and then add my veggies slo-o-owly. Also drinking my water which has been helping quite a bit too. How did you do today?

I have done this before and Yes it did work I lost weight. But what do you do after the fast. I mean as soon as you go back on plan it all comes back. So what is the secret to this? How do you keep all the weight off that you lose on it?

Count me in..my wedding is near (nov. 17) and I need to loose a bit before that. Any ideas for recipes? I'm fasting through out the day so I need something that will make me look forward to my "breaking-the-fast" meal.

I'm officially starting today too.

I thought of making meatloaf (no veggies of course)..just seasonings, and stuff it with boiled eggs and hot dog. Well it may not taste like a meatloaf..it's simply a suffed hamburger patty .

I'll join you guys tomorrow morning. Was 11 days cheat free until my step children rocked up for the weekend - too much nice stuff going in their mouths to keep me on track. So I'm really really pissed at myself and I'm ready to hit back hard.

Atmasters....you probably will have to ask on the TDC Egg & Meat thread. But, I think you need to add veggies in very slowly, like 5 grams/day for a week and then 10 grams/day the next week, etc. If you find out the answer, let us know. Last week, I did it for 4 1/2 days, lost 8, went to dinner last night and up 2 lbs. this a.m. but will do this starting today until either Wed. or Thurs. (I am missing my veggies. And this from a person who only liked green beans when they started this WOE) But, will add them in slowly. Let us know if you find out the proper way to ease off the E & M fast. Thanks. (Maybe sometime today I'll read that entire thread myself to find the answer and I'll let you know)

Hi again,

well, the reuben with no bread is good for when you are on the regular low carb.....

I just have to get some decent groceries to get this all started again.

take care, Gina

Hi all! No one knows me because I'm new here, but I'm joining in the challenge! Will keep up the fast 3 weeks minimum. Starting tomorrow, Tuesday. And will allow myself not one slip-up. That means, 3 weeks, meat and eggs, not one single break or stray. Gained 20 lbs back in the last month and a half, and guess what - they're comin' off!!

So do you think that weight gained recently and quickly like that can come off a bit faster than say normal wieght put on over time??

I'd like to think that since it came on so fast, it's not quite stuck on there yet! Kinda temporary, only half there, in limbo, haha.

Because yeah, this recent gain sure has me down, and at that point I was still looking at about 25 to go even. Sure hard not to get discouraged! I hate blowing so much time of hard work, and knowing that I'm going to have to backtrack and waste time getting to my final goal by now having to make up that time as well.
grrr!
