Default Atkins we meet again.

Hi from New Orleans here. I found this board some weeks ago when I was trying to refresh my memory of Atkins. I did it in 1999 and lost a quick 50 lbs. Of course I had more to lose but stopped the plan. I went back to my usual eating and fast forward to 2014 I was about 350 lbs. Probably 355 and very ashamed to admit it.

Well I have a family now and want to live as long as I can with them. Being 36 and 355 is a recipe for not living very long. I love my girlfriend very much and I want to do this for her as well as me. And of course I know she loves me but secretly of course I want her to be excited about what she sees.

I started Atkins a couple months ago and lost 30 lbs. I got a little side tracked with many parties and a wedding but I'm on it again. During those weeks I felt I was gaining a little but I hadn't gained all the 30 lbs back and I am glad for that.

Well after all the parties and busy social life I decided I have to do this. November 1st I started once again and am feeling progress. I believe in my heart this time is different and I am determined to get to my goal. I feel as though I can do it and plan on using this board for more motivation.
