Question Mild stomach upset

I just stumbled on this sight but it looks like it can be a real encouragement to my low carb diet.
I decided to go low carb recently since my A1C was so close to "diabetic" of 6.4
I just don't want diabetes yet!
Since July 2017 I have been following Dr Rob Thompson's books "Glycemic load Diabetes Solution". I don't really have a weight problem except for the belly. I'm about 123 pounds at 5ft 5 inches so my goal is simply normal A1C.
I do have a question:
Having increased my fat intake esp. monounsaturated fats- olive oil, nuts and Avacados I seem to get mild upset stomach an hour or so after I eat. Will this go away? Has anyone experienced this? Thanks for reading this post.

Not a stomach upset, but it did take my intestinal system some time to get with the program. I am a month into it now and things seems to be working themselves out.

Thank you for your response. My stomach is feeling better now- I think it was just the sudden change in diet and a little more fat than what I was used to on a low fat diet!
Good luck with your progress!
MJ

Hey MJ, I have those symptoms when I eat avocados. Kind of sucks but that's the way it is for me. about 30-45 mins after I eat one I feel horrible then it goes away as quick as it came after another hour or so. Glad you feel better!
