I don't get my period most months (haven't now in 2 years). I am going to be tested by an endocrinologist in three weeks. In the meantime, I have to ask: has anyone who does not menstruate properly still experience the same water retention and fatigue ordinarily associated with TOM?
I noticed that my weight went:
Day 1: 118
Days 2-24: 114-116
Day 25-26: 118
...this is without cheating at all.
I am on induction.

While you are waiting for an answer I'll pass on something that may be relevant. I have a number of friends who are post-menopausal and they complain about cycles of water gain that appear to be the lat remnants of menstrual cycles. Until I had lunch with them a couple of weeks ago I had no idea that was true.
I am fairly regular now but when I was irregular I would have period like symptoms sometimes I would even have pressure, not quite cramps but a kind of pressure if that makes any sence. I would retain water, was very tired and sometimes even a little crabby. I dont know if this is common but it did happen to me also
