Stopping the auto emails

How can I stop the emails that come every time a response is added to a thread that I posted in once?

Under User CP, choose "Edit Options" from the menu on the left. Scroll down to "Messaging & Notification". Select "No email notification" on the little drop-down menu.

Mine is now set to no email notification and yet I still get emails. Help!!

Changing the setting in your user CP will take effect for threads you post in *after* the change.
