Just checked my email and I had TONS of Forum ones - but ones I had already seen, from as far back as April 24th. Too weird!

The total number of posts since joining the forum, as listed on the left, seems to have gone down somewhat. For those who frequent the singles thread, some apparently lost several hundred each.

I lost over a thousand posts off my list - I'm down to 1 steak! And I was so looking forward to my lobster.

O.k. I think I know what happened. The post count may have actually increased for a day during the weekend, when a copy was made of the singles thread, and returned back to what it was after the copy was deleted.

If any of you think that their post count is less than what the actual post count should be, let me know and I'll double check. If the drop is just back to where it was before the sudden increase, then it's normal.

Good thinking, but no that wasn't it. I wouldn't worry I'm sure if anyone one them restored they will tell you. It looks like about 6 of us lost credit for about a thousand posts. Though I checked back and the actual posts are still there (though for some reason mine shows up elsewhere as 900 posts. Go figure.). No biggie.

Did it happen during the weekend, or before?

The 900 figure is the limit to how many search results are shown, to find earler posts for a member with 900+ posts, you may need to set a date limit to find earler posts.

Another possibility, is that occasionally members will request removal of their journals, and with it goes many posts made by others in their journal.

In any case, we do have daily backups, and I can find out what the post count was before, so we can double check.

As this is a low-carb forum, I will not have it on my concious that we denied anyone their rightful steaks or lobsters

I noticed it yesterday. It look's like mostly visitors on the singles thread. I think that it may only have affected those who were posting on the pages that got removed.

There were only one or two posts removed, at the time I left the warning.

I'll check what the post counts were before, and if it's below the actual post count, they will be restored.

I checked Friday's copy, and you guys are right. I re-adjusted your post counts. If anyone else had this problem, let me know here or by PM.
