I could probably eat that. No worse that stuff I make for myself, for instance, this tower of Bi-bel - shredded porkskin makes it good. I would love to have O try this, it's very ... interesting. It's difficult to speak while eating as your lips and tongue are stuck to the inside of your mouth...

Bi Afraid...

chicken thigh cut up in the bi noodles (that disintegrated btw) and some green pepper, maybe a little onion. Its posslible it's one of the chicken thigh joints, I don't get particular and throw that stuff out if you can chew thru it. My hair and coat is shiny, that is, what is left of it

That is a fabulous jelled tower! Wowsers.

And I can still get "head cheese" at our local German craft butcher.

My Ukrainian grandmother used to make gelatin from pork hocks with lots of pepper, onion, celery and garlic.

Oh those WW cards! I feel like making a batch of Fish balls or Fluffy Mackerel Pudding (not).

In the early 1970s my sister was in WW, didn't lose a pound, and after a few weeks she got fat-shaming and accused of lying about what she had eaten, not support. We were both only ~20 lbs overweight. Then she quit WW and lost all the weight quickly on Stillmans. I did well on Atkins. I think the low-fat low-calorie low-satiety diets were what caused our problems in the first place. We probably would have out-grown our baby fat if we had just eaten real food and fat. She was 14-15 at the time and stopped growing taller; luckily I had attained 5'6" before I started starving myself.

That tower looks like something I would really like. Do you eat it hot or cold?

Shares of Weight Watchers International were spiking Wednesday, a day after investor Oprah Winfrey ballyhooed her weight loss on
Stephen Colbert's late-night talk show.

Winfrey, who held a 10% stake in Weight Watchers as of September, says she has lost more than 40 pounds by following the weight-loss program's regimen. The stock reacted by zooming 19.7%, or $2.19 a share, to $13.27 in midday trading.

Thanks, Debbie. I clicked over to the usatoday article on Oprah, and then, oh my, got lured into celebrity click bait about who was/is/isn't fat anymore. Of course, the images are culled over time, so who knows which of these folks is in what condition now.

One lesson is: yo-yo dieting isn't a character flaw. Those of us prone to gain weight have to accept that "difference" and deal with it. Luckily we don't have to do it in Celebrity Land. Basically nobody's watching but ourselves.

Dead camel? How many carbs??

Camel has nearly zero carbs but lots of fat, at least the stuff that's available to buy around here. I do think Opera would have a hard time selling it to her audience except maybe the people that already eat it, like me and others that shop where I do!

Curried Camel and Spinach Salad at work (a real head turner )
