Default A few months off the wagon

I was doing so good there for a few months. I had lost about 20 lbs and was making progress but something totally derailed me and I'm not even sure what it was. But the carb creep happened in full until I was just eating whatever whenever and gaining weight. So now I've put back on about 12 lbs. My post Thanksgiving heart burn and belly bloat really signaled to me that I needed to get back into ketosis and get the ball rolling (downhill). Its crazy how one minute I can be die hard anti-carb and the next I'm swilling down a bowl of candied yams.
TL;DR: recommitting!

Congratulations on the 20lbs and only gaining back 12lbs. You've made it slow progress for yourself but it IS progress and something to be proud of. Now that you've picked yourself up and dusted yourself off it would be a huge help if you can get to the bottom of what derailed you. Until you've thought that through with total honesty, you're likely to let it derail you again. This journey is all about getting to know ourselves, keeping what works for us, and resolving the problems that hold us back. Good luck!
