Default Will I lose weight on Wellbutrin the 2nd time around?

Will I lose weight on Wellbutrin the 2nd time around?

The first time I took it, I was taking 300mg of the generic for around 2 years. I had lost about 10 lbs. Eventually I tapered off it and then stopped taking it completely and gained 25 lbs! (I had also started birth control around that time, so that may be part of the reason for my rapid weight gain).

I plan on going back on it and I want to know if I can expect the same weight loss effects or will my body already be used to it?

Ps. I've been off of it for 3 weeks and my Dr said I can go back on it once it's been a month.

BC is notorious for weight gain.

I have no idea about Wellbutrin.

With all due respect. If it took you 2 years to lose 10lbs on that drug, why would you want to take it again. LC should work for you or any other weight loss plan that your comfortable with.

Unless you need it for depression and weight loss was a side effect? ??

Thanks for the feedback guys.

bmore4now, I lost those 10 lbs in the beginning of the 2 years, and kept it off throughout.

I am going back on it for depression. But I am really hoping to lose the weight I gained when going off it and going on bc (which I have now gone off of). Just hoping it works this time around too
