Ran five miles today, even in the rain. Had every intention of walking hills and stairs for one hour on Thursday in between classes, only did 30 minutes, which I guess is better than nothing since I was totally exhausted. I am trying to do the best I can, it seems some days are so much different than others, and energy levels really seem to fluctuate. Overall, though, I do feel better, and much more comfortable in my skin with my current level of weight and inches loss. Must...stay...on...track!

Ran and walked 4 miles yesterday, later in day when energy was low. Could not run at all, lots of pain from tom I think. At least I did something. Will get out earlier today. Planning on running and then weight training.

Ran and walked 4 miles, then did weight training. Was very weak, had to decrease the pounds for my workout. I may need to increase my calories or a little fruit before working out so I have the energy I need to do my entire workout, and to move forward in endurance and muscle toning as I would like.

Seems like a while since I have posted...it is indeed!! I ran for 4.5 miles today and felt great! As part or carb cycling, I had some grapes before running and it really seemed to help my energy level. Lost another pound, too. Hooray!!

Ran five miles yesterday, although very slowly....I did it! Trying to improve my endurance and eventually, my speed. Consistency is the key, but very difficult this semester.

Walked briskly up and down stairs around campus today between classes for 40 minutes. Overall, have been more consistently running higher mileage on my days off from work, between 4-5 miles. Things are definitely improving as far as consistency goes, even with work and school.

I ran five miles on Friday, but forgot to post. Felt really good for the first half and sort of spent myself, so the last half I was slow as molasses! Just as long as I made it home and still running was an accomplishment. Worked the weekend, and I try to take the stairs as much as I can when I am there. Will be running tomorrow.

Has been a busy couple of days. Went for our first hike of the season on Saturday, a total of 13 miles with a 2200 foot elevation gain (lots of ups and downs through valleys on the way up the mountain). Felt the burn in glutes and front and back of thighs. Was sore Sunday, worked in the yard, lots of bending, good squat workout. I love the warmer weather!! Off to work and school for the week...and more than likely no real workout until Friday.

I had a busy weekend at work. Was able to go running - 5 miles - yesterday. I went walking after work and school today, 2 miles. Even with work and school, am trying to start to fit in 3-4 days of some sort of exercise instead of 2 days per week. This will definitely be a challenge. But I need to see more progress in pounds lost.

Ran five miles today...felt good to do it, even though my knee gave me some grief.

Ran 4.5 miles today, was planning on 5 but I got REALLY dizzy...note to self: hydration, hydration, hydration! It really heated up out there in a hurry this morning, need to readjust to oncoming summer heat and be more careful so I can finish my running every day.

Went for a walk after school yesterday, 3 miles. It's great to have the sun up longer now so I can get my exercise in, at least some. I find it really hard to run at the end of the day....

Ran five miles today before starting my homework. Had a banana and some water before running and it really helped my energy level.

Got a heck of a workout today when I was out taking photos for my photography class. Up and down mountains and rock hopping and lots of squats! Feel the burn.
