Just curious.

Has anybody out there tried Oxycise?

I started it three weeks ago. I have been doing the fifteen minute routine twice a day, six days a week. I have lost 4 inches since then, two off my waist. This is good.

But the program also says the extra oxygen will cause you to lose weight. I have gained a pound and stayed there.

I was active with Aquafit three times a week since November so it's not like I was totally unexercised! By the way, I like working with this video a lot better than going to the pool. I can't afford all the extra time at this stage in my life.

What stories do the rest of you have to tell?

Hi Wa'il,

Basically it is a collection of stretches done in conjunction with a certain breathing cycle. I first heard of it in a very amazing testimony by someone who equally credits low-carb and this exercise. Here’s his link: http://communities.msn.com/ShaunZimmerman

I did some research on forums and with several searches. Sounded okay. Not everyone had glorious success with it, but many had good results. I am suspecting that people with a lot to lose find it more helpful than those who are already in pretty good shape, but one person was a state bodybuilding champion and he still lost 1 1/2 inches off his waist in 6 weeks. One point, Jill Johnson who developed it says that you will not see much in the way of results unless you do it at least six out of seven days.

Here is the link to the actual site. http://www.oxycise.com/
There are many letters from people who have used it at http://www.oxyciseplus.com/Success/index.htm

Wow Kay,

Was just reading what you had to say and checking out the sites you posted. I then remembered my Mother in Law saying about a year ago something about breathing excercise tapes she picked up.

I just called her to see if she still had them and yes she does. I plan to look into this, what with me being a person who can't seem to get up and go after work.

Thanks for the posting

Wendy

That's cool, Wendy! What tapes does she have? I have the Level 1 training and the Level 1 routine.

What I like best about it is that you can easily fit in fifteen minutes here or there, whereas if a program is thirty minutes to an hour, it's harder to make time every day. And the actual routine tape is exactly the time of the exercises - no extra talk and instructions that slow things down once you know what to do. I'm impressed.

I will be very interested to hear what you think. Since my other post I've only done the routine once a day on average and have lost another half inch on the waist, 1/4 inch each thigh, but no new weight loss. At least the pound that came back got lost again.

Hmmm - I am guessing your mother-in-law was not sold on it?

Kay

Firstly, I don't know what she has. She didn't recognize me saying the name of the program (it was over a year ago she told me about the breathing excercise. She got the tape from a t.v. commercial so I am sure its the same one.). When I go see her I will have more of an idea.

You have to know this lady. She gives up easily on all sorts of things. If it don't work in two to three weeks for her, thats it!!!
